Test queue & sessions
Every unit arrives with its rating, vector group and PO. Testers pick it from the queue and follow a guided sequence.

Transformer testing, from bay to certificate
A test bay operating system for transformer manufacturers. Testers run guided IS 1180 sessions, readings are checked against guaranteed values as they are entered, and a customer-ready certificate is generated in minutes.

The problem
In most transformer factories, test readings are written on paper in the bay, typed into Excel later, and copied again into each customer’s certificate format. Every copy is a chance for a wrong number on a certificate a utility will rely on for decades.
Owners only see yield and delays at month end, and nobody can say which lot is about to miss its delivery.
What Test Bay OS does
Test Bay OS records every reading once, at the bay, on a tablet. Each value is checked against the guaranteed figure on the spot, with the instruments and their calibration logged automatically.
When the last test passes, the certificate is filled from the session in the customer’s own format. Owners watch yield, bay utilisation and every lot’s progress live.
01 the flow
Four steps, one record. Nothing is typed twice.

02 certificates
Preview the certificate in the customer’s own format before it goes for approval. Every value comes straight from the bay, instrument calibration dates are listed, and a QR code lets the utility check the certificate is genuine.

03 features
Every unit arrives with its rating, vector group and PO. Testers pick it from the queue and follow a guided sequence.
Winding resistance, ratio, IR/PI, no-load, load and impedance, dielectric, PD, CT/PT and temperature rise, each with its own entry screen.
Readings are checked against the guaranteed values as they are entered, so a failing unit is flagged before the session ends.
Test bays have poor signal. Sessions keep working offline and sync the queued readings when the connection returns.
Each session records which instruments were used and confirms they are in calibration, so certificates are never issued on expired equipment.
GETCO, MGVCL and other DISCOM formats are saved as templates and filled from the session, with a verification QR and an approval step.

04 analytics
Throughput and first-pass yield by month, units by customer, a yield heatmap by rating, and every lot’s progress against its PO. A plain-language summary flags what needs attention, such as a lot that is at risk on yield.
